Mr. Perreault has a degree in civil engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke (2001). Before joining Équation groupe conseil in 2016 as an associate engineer, vice president and project manager, Mr. Perreault has acted as a senior manager of development in Quebec and in the Atlantic provinces at Groupe TDL (Tim Hortons). He also takes care of the cost estimates for construction and renovation projects, work scheduling, the coordination of all the professionals and the overseeing of projects as well as the construction of new restaurants and the renovation program of restaurants for Quebec and the Maritimes.
Before this experience, he worked at the Progemes Consultant firm as a junior steel, wood and cement structural building engineer.
Mrs. Marie-Josée Charron studied in Construction Engineering and completed her degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1992, and in 1999, she received a specialised diploma in Rehabilitation of Urban Infrastructures from the ÉTS. She is also member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec since 1994.
In 1993, she started her career in a consulting engineering company as a road works manager. Moreover, in the same year, she became a municipal engineering designer for another engineering consulting company. As part of her duties, she took care of preparing studies for municipal engineering projects and more specifically she prepared studies about drainage which involved surface retention. She also took care of the design, the preparation of the plans, quotes and estimations, document offers, tenders as well as overseeing many residential, municipal and private projects.
During the year 2000, Marie-Josée Charron joined the Équation groupe conseil team where she continued her functions as a municipal engineer designer and then became an associate, vice-president and president of the firm. As well as working on municipal projects and private developments; she manages many institutional and commercial projects.
The electro mechanic building department is directed by Mr. Marc Desbiens, Senior mechanical engineer with 25 years of experience; 14 of those 25 at our firm. Mr. Desbiens is in charge of the design, and if need be, he participates in overseeing of the projects. During the survey, the planning and the design of the projects, he is assisted by Mr. Dany Tavares, DAO technician with 16 years of experience.
Mr. Dumas has worked in the engineering consulting business for the past 15 years and he has a degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in civil engineering. He has developed his expertise and his experience in the production of many projects in the commercial, industrial, office, residential, multi-level buildings (condos), school, institutional, municipal and sports facilities. He has mastered the codes and standards which allows him to conceive all types of structures either in steel, cement or wood. Mr. Dumas has endorsed the roles of design engineer, engineer construction site supervisor, project manager and head of service of the structural department and is now vice president for Équation groupe conseil. His experience, his ingenuity, his pro-activity and his assiduous implication in the production of projects which have allowed him to find performing and optimizing solutions that perfectly answers the needs and expectations of their clients, while respecting the budgets and the deadlines. Thanks to his rigour and his excellent communicator skills; he knows how to manage his work teams and coordinate all of the tasks related to the structure and civil engineer from the beginning to the end of the project. The numerous construction sites that he has worked on has permitted him to be able to make quick, good decisions on site that permit him to fulfill the projects within the deadlines and within budget.
